The story behind
It started in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, where Pietro, our founder, during his PhD research, made an incredible observation. He noticed that algae thrived and grew faster in areas where waves continuously crashed against the rocks, creating a natural frequency.
This wasn’t just a coincidence. A similar phenomenon can be seen in nature with pink flamingos, which use low-frequency sound waves while feeding to separate Dunaliella salina, rich in carotenoids which give them their iconic pink color.
Inspired by these natural processes, we developed a groundbreaking technology that harnesses the power of low-frequency waves to accelerate culture growth, optimize production, and revolutionize the way we cultivate algae.
So’Sweep is a breakthrough technology that uses low-frequency sound waves to optimize biological processes, increasing efficiency and reducing costs across industries.
What if So'sweep unlocked nature’s full potential?
Low frequency waves (100 Hz- 6kHz) enhance biological processes, boosting microbiological growth, improve its efficiency and maintain purity.
We leverage cutting-edge fluid dynamical computational simulations to ensure perfect light penetration and optimal energy efficiency.
Our technology not only meticulously analyzes liquid interactions under acoustic stimulation but also study the dynamic models of photosynthesis, which maintains ideal light exposure for maximized photosynthetic conversion and minimizes the metabolic load on cells, resulting in high-quality biomass production
We successfully completes the first batch of FoodSeed, the foodtech accelerator of CDP Venture Capital SGR’s National Network
